it's really important to exercise every day or you will lose your svelt figure...my favorite ways to exercise are to run around the park with dad (ok, not around the whole park...but part of it) and to do yoga. my favorite pose is upward facing dog.
really stretches out the hips...
i really love my dad. we spend a lot of time together...mom snapped this while he was talking to me last night.
saturday mornings are for lounging. i start in the bed, and then i migrate to the hall. if mom and dad don't wake up early enough to take me out, i go downstairs and lounge on the couch instead.
it takes a lot of work to keep my handsome mug clean and my beautiful coat shiny. mom and dad bring me to dogma to give me baths because i'm a little big for the tubs in the house.
i don't really like baths, but i love the shampoo they use. it smells like earl grey tea...i think it's the bergamot.
plus they buy me a monkey cookie for "being good" while they bathe me. it has orange icing, and i really like that. mom always saves the head for last...which is fun too.
i like to sleep, and i'm really good at it.
mom and dad bought me this new bed a while ago, and i just got it perfect. it's wedged in between my dad's side of the bed, the wall, and the little side table. my dad has to get out of bed all the way at the bottom so he doesn't disturb me...but i'm sure he doesn't mind.
i mean, look at me.
i make sure that the first thing my mom sees when she wakes up is my smoosh. she's so lazy, sometimes i have to stare at her for a while and then headbutt the bed to get her up.
if there is one thing i really hate, it's the rain. i'll do anything to avoid it, including waiting up to two days to pee. i've heard my mom threatening me with a yellow rain slicker (as if that would help) but dad always shoots her down. good thing the man's got my back.
mom forced me to go out in the rain this morning, but before that i gave her this pleading look...i don't understand why it didn't work.
now i'm all wet.
i hate it when my mom leaves for work. i'm no mama's boy, but i just get so lonely...
my mom and dad took me to aunt katie's parents house, and they don't have concrete there. they have trees and grass. when we first got there i didn't know where all the sounds were coming from...so i kept looking...and looking...and then i saw it.
a bird.
and i didn't stop looking at it until we left.
i just got back from a seriously long walk. note both the side eye and the "frog-dog" pose...clearly i'm exhausted.
fortunately i look good from this angle.
as you can see, i'm a really good looking dog. i'm not cocky about it or anything, but chicks dig me.
stick around and i'll keep you up to date on where i am, what i'm doing, and just how wrinkly i am at any given moment.
